Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum: SAA has completed a Conservation Studio in the Guggenheim's Fifth Avenue Museum, allowing treatments and research to take place near galleries for the first time. This follows our successful new layout for the Director's Suite and Boardroom, completed in 2011.

Oberlin College recently appointed Andria Derstine as the John G. W. Cowles Director of the Allen Memorial Art Museum. SAA worked closely with Ms. Derstine and her predecessor, Stephanie Wiles, on a substantial expansion and renovation to the Cass Gilbert & Venturi wings of the Museum. She thanked SAA, noting: "Your many, many years of effort, and creativity, have paid off enormously for us all here at the AMAM" This project achieved LEED Gold Certification. read more

During the recent MAAM (Mid-Atlantic Association of Museums) Conference in Philadelphia, the Penn Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology's Lynn Grant, (Conservator), Melissa Smith, (Chief Operating Officer) joined Sam Anderson in presenting "Expansion without Enlargement," an analysis of sustainable and economical strategies for museum renovation and expansion.
